What is AAHA Accreditation?
AAHA is the only organization that accredits veterinary practices in the United States and Canada.
To become accredited by the AAHA, an animal hospital is evaluated on a range of stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of veterinary medicine—from pain management and patient care to team training and medical record keeping.
AAHA continues to update and expand on the accreditation requirements in order to continue to ensure that each hospital is up to the necessary standards.

AAHA was developed by veterinary experts and provides cutting-edge, frequently updated guidelines that help veterinary professionals face the demands of a continually shifting industry and provide pets with the best possible quality of care.
As veterinary healthcare is ever evolving it is imperative that the standards are always being reevaluated as AAHA guidelines assist veterinary professionals with developing evidence-based protocols for cats and dogs in their practices.
