1. How often should my pet receive a wellness examination?

Because your pet ages more quickly than you do, it is essential that you take your pet to the veterinarian on an annual basis. Taking your pet to the veterinarian every 12 months is the same as if you were to see your physician for a physical exam every 6-8 years. Because so much can change with regard to your pet's physical health in such a short amount of time, you can't afford to have your pet miss even one exam.

2. Why does my pet need annual wellness examinations?

An annual wellness examination gives your veterinarian the chance to evaluate your pet's overall health and to detect problems before they turn into serious illnesses. Because your pet cannot tell you in words how he or she is feeling, the veterinarian must rely on a thorough physical examination and your observations of your pet in order to determine if your pet is truly healthy.

3. How do I make payment?

Payment is required at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, check, MasterCard, Visa and Care Credit.

4. Do I have to have an appointment?

In order to allow sufficient time for our patients, we work by scheduled appointments. Although walk-ins and drop-offs are accepted, we recommend that you call us and make an appointment so that you will not have to wait to be seen by the veterinarian.

5. Can my pet be dropped off prior to the appointment?

Because we understand that busy schedules can make it difficult to bring your pet in, we also offer the option of dropping off your pet in the morning and picking up in the afternoon. The doctor will examine your pet and call you regarding exam findings and recommendations.

6. Do you board pets?

We do have boarding facilities available. All pets must be up to date on vaccinations prior to boarding. Please make reservations in advance especially during the holidays and weekends.
